Some weeks, I am simply tired of trying to be cool. Did you know even that I was trying to be so? Most weeks I am.
Radio is a funny thing, it allows people with shy personalities a chance to succeed on the same playing field that people with huge overt personalities use. It gives them both a chance to express themselves and reach people like few mediums do, now or in the past. Although, I have to acknowledge that the heyday, the nadir, the zenith of radio has come and gone- we are in a different time altogether now. A time of splintered interests.
You might be asking yourself, "What's the deal with all these gold stars littering the entrance of the PRA studio?" Those gold stars are wedding confetti! DDDJJJ666 and I exchanged vows in the studio, live on the air! If anyone wants to hear our ceremony, it's been podcasted here: http://feeds.feedburner.com/HipstersSuck

Soriah performed a beautiful ceremony and we made Mike Jedlicka sign the marriage certificate!

Don't you agree that it's time for a band to shake up the rock and roll world like The Beatles and The Stones did in the 60's? We haven't really had a band that had that kind of impact in rock music since Nirvana. There was The Strokes, The White Stripes, and The Libertines in the early 2000's but they didn't quite have the impact that Nirvana did. Nirvana not only exterminated the hair rockers that were clogging up MTV, but they helped bring back a resurgence of punk and garage rock that was kind of in the back burner for awhile.
Hello fellow radioheads. My name is Annette May and I will be doing my first show Sunday December 18th from 4-6 p.m. It's called "On the Verge". The first show will be blocks of songs from some of my favorite bands as well as songs from local bands and musicians who are on my friends list on Facebook and MySpace. I encourage anyone interested to send me your personal all time playlists for future shows. I plan on having an occasional guest and hopefully my friend Devin will join me in January to discuss news and current events in the political world. A playlist of each show will be posted.
Listen to episodes of Another Dementia on my mixcloud station.

Well, here I am again. Talking about the future. Forever the optimist. With not a smile but a grin, and that first step, as we all know "when you put one foot in front of the other, soon you'll be walking out the door". Or so I learned as a child.
